What it covers, and what it doesn't
- Covers: aircraft on the US civil registry (N-numbers) and recently deregistered aircraft, from the FAA Releasable Aircraft Database, loaded daily.
- Doesn't cover: title, liens or ownership history beyond the registry, flight tracking, or aircraft registered in other countries. The FAA's release can lag paperwork, so it isn't an official record.
- Privacy: the FAA publishes registrant names and addresses. Free pages leave out individual owners' names and all street addresses. Pro exports carry the full public record for lawful business use.
