Terms of Use

Aeonis Tail (the “Service”) is operated by AEONIS LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 10001 NW 50th St #104, Sunrise, FL 33351 (“we”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. What the Service is, and isn't

The Service lets you look up US civil aircraft registrations and browse changes on the registry, using the FAA Releasable Aircraft Database, a public record the FAA publishes daily. It is for general information. It is not an official FAA record, a title search, a lien search, a legal opinion or proof of ownership or airworthiness. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Federal Aviation Administration or the U.S. Department of Transportation.

2. Data accuracy

Registry data can lag paperwork filed with the FAA, can contain errors, and our day-over-day change detection is an interpretation of two releases, not an FAA determination. A “new registration” or “ownership change” label means the public record changed in a way that usually indicates that event. Always confirm anything important with the FAA registry, and use a title company or aviation attorney for transactions.

3. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you agree not to:

• use registrant information to harass, stalk, threaten or intimidate anyone, or to locate a person for any unlawful purpose;
• use the Service or its output as a consumer report or as a factor in decisions about a person's credit, insurance, employment, housing or other eligibility covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We are not a consumer reporting agency;
• contact registrants in violation of the law, including the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and do-not-call rules, or state privacy and solicitation laws. You are responsible for your own outreach;
• scrape the Service in bulk, bypass rate limits or plan limits, share license keys outside your organization, or resell the Service's output as a data product.

We may limit, suspend or end access for use that breaks these terms or burdens the Service.

4. Updates by email

Leaving your email for Pro updates is free and creates no obligation. We'll use it only to tell you about Aeonis Tail, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

5. Aeonis Tail Pro (when offered)

Pro is a subscription sold through Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record. Plans, prices and limits are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your Gumroad receipt or library and keep access until the end of the paid period. Your license key is for your organization's use; don't publish it. Alert feed links are private: anyone with a link can read that feed, so treat it like a password, and you can delete and replace a feed anytime. Pro exports include registrant names and addresses exactly as the FAA publishes them; the acceptable-use rules above apply to everything you export.

6. Refunds

You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid period. We refund a first payment requested within 14 days, and any charge made in error. Requests: ronald@aeonis.pro.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AEONIS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSSES FROM RELYING ON THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DECISIONS TO BUY, SELL, INSURE OR FINANCE AN AIRCRAFT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $50.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AEONIS LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or the data you obtain from it, or your violation of these terms.

10. Governing law

Florida law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue lies in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
